CONCORD, NH - Friday afternoon State Senator Donna Soucy of Manchester filed to run for her third term in the New Hampshire Senate.
During the last four years representing District 18, Senator Soucy has brought common-sense leadership to Concord. She has worked to deliver real results to the people of Manchester and Litchfield by championing family friendly and small business policies, passing fiscally responsible state budgets, and working in a bipartisan manner to combat the opioid crisis in our community.
Senator Soucy will continue to her efforts to expand opportunities and to grow the middle class by advocating to raise the minimum wage. She said, “My proudest achievement in the Senate has been authoring Joshua’s Law,” a law that makes it easier to identify, charge and prosecute domestic violence attackers and support victims.
She continued, “I am running for my third term, so I can continue to serve the people of my district in Manchester and Litchfield by fighting for economic opportunity and public safety.”
